How to come to Korčula? :)

By car:
  • If you are coming by car from the north (e.g.  Zagreb, Split) you can take highway A1 all the way to Ploče then drive to Komarna, cross the Pelješac bridge and then follow the road to Orebić where you can take a ferry to Dominče (Korčula ferry port, 10 min duration).
  • If you are coming by car from the north (e.g.  Zagreb, Split) you can also take highway A1 all the way to Ploče, then take a ferry to Trpanj (Pelješac peninsula, 1-hour duration) then drive to Orebić for about 25 min and then take the ferry to Dominče (Korčula ferry port, 10 min duration).
  • Take a direct ferry from Split to the city of Vela Luka on the island Korčula (3 hours duration).
  • If you are coming from the south (e.g. Dubrovnik) you can drive through the Pelješac peninsula and then take a ferry to Dominče (Korčula ferry port, 10 min duration).
By bus:
  • There are buses from Zagreb, Split, and Dubrovnik going directly to Korčula town.
By ferry boat from Split:
  • Take a ferry boat from Split to the city of Vela Luka (Korčula), and then take a bus to the town of Korčula and then Lumbarda.
By speedboat – catamaran (from Split or Dubrovnik):
  • Take a speedboat from Split to the town of Korčula, or less convenient take a speed boat to Vela Luka and then a bus to the town of Korčula. Be careful in the high season because these tickets can be sold early in the morning.
  • Take a speedboat from Dubrovnik to the town of Korčula.
By plane:
  • The nearest Airports are in Dubrovnik and Split.
  • There is also a Shuttle Bus from Dubrovnik Airport to Pelješac Peninsula and Korčula Island.
